This scale will be the real deal. I am quite pleased with mine. I've compared it twice to the reading on an pricey commercial digital scale in my doctor's office and got exactly the same reading to 0.1 lb. The stainless steel finish would seem to fit in most any decor. The only modest negative is that the reading can swing a tenth or two, but that goes away as soon as you discover how to appropriately use the scale without having shifting your physique weight.
